June is just around the corner, and with summer quickly approaching First Step Athletics has THREE new Six Week Bootcamps starting this month to get you ready for summer. Our bootcamps are open to people of ALL ages and at ALL stages of their fitness journey.
Whether you are a super triathlete or super couch potato, our bootcamps are for you!
Each bootcamp is capped at 15 people so that our FSA coaches can truly get to know you—your strengths, weaknesses, goals, and challenges—and are committed to providing you with a fun, safe, and motivating fitness experience! These small bootcamp sizes also allow us to give modifications for our beginners as well as modifications for those who may need an extra challenge, ensuring that no matter what level of fitness you are at now, our bootcamp will help take you to the next level!
Additionally, after the first week of a Bootcamp, we do not let any new members join, even if the bootcamp isn’t completely full! This is because at FSA we think of our bootcamps as teams whose members are learning and developing as athletes, together. We spend a great deal of time in the first week working on the fundamentals and ensuring that everyone not only has proper form, but understands WHY and HOW that form is important. In our experience, when you let new members join after that first week, it sets everyone back as we have to take the time to explain all of this all over again. Finally, we know that for many people it can be a bit of a nerve-wracking experience to workout with others in a group. This is why in our bootcamps we take the time to play games and exercises that help us all get comfortable with one another and feeling like a team, so that we can all do our personal best each day without worrying about the person next to us. By not allowing new people to join past the first week, it ensures that you will never have the not-so-pleasant experience of showing up to your favorite class one morning, only to have some stranger named Nosey-McNoserson peering over your shoulder the whole time!

We have a midday 6 Week Bootcamp starting on Jan 5th that will meet every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:15pm-1:15pm, and an evening 6 Week Bootcamp also starting on Jan 5th that will meet every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5:30pm-6:30pm or 6:45pm-7:30pm. Both of these bootcamps will meet at the FSA Studio on Mondays and Thursdays, and at Brengle Terrace Park in Vista on Wednesdays. Finally, we have a morning 6 Week Bootcamp starting on Jan 6th that will meet every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:00am-7:00am; Tuesdays and Fridays at the FSA Studio and Thursdays at Brengle Terrace Park.
